Citrine is a stone you will find in every crystal therapists tool kit and with good reason. Citrine is actually Amethyst that has been superheated deep within the earth (several hundred degrees). While this action does not change the internal structure of the crystal, it does change its properties. Citrine carries the rays of the sun within it and a happy feel and sunny energy to it

Citrine’s Properties:

Citrine is a solar plexus chakra stone used metaphysically to increase, magnify and clarify personal power and energy. This increased personal power can be used for the focused intent of the individual, as it brings will power as well.

Citrine is a fabulous stone to use to combat negative energy of any kind by breaking them up and dissipating them. Citrine is also a stone that brings hope. Since citrine eliminates negative energies, it is good for protection in general and helps bring stability energetically.

In the mental arena, citrine enhances mental clarity, confidence, and will power. The mental clarity and confidence support bringing increased creativity and honesty.

Since citrine brings self-confidence as well as positive energy, it can also help eliminate fears of being judged or of others' ideas. It is also used to dissipate fear of being alone or unworthy of love.

Citrine is a happy stone. It can bring happiness to the person who carries or wears it. Because of its removal of negative energy and its own bring positivity, it can relieve depression, self-doubt, anger, and irrational mood swings.

Pop a piece of Citrine in the wealth corner of your home to help attract money. The wealth corner is the furthest left corner from your front door.

Citrine is one of the best stones to work with if you suffer from stomach nerves as it is a solar plexus stone. We all know that feeling you get in your tummy when you feel upset. Simply place a piece of Citrine on that area and sitting quietly for 10-20 minutes will help sooth this feeling. This can also help with an IBS flare up too.

You can also use Citrine for a crystal therapy bath session. Citrine is a member of the quartz family and is perfect safe in water and is non-toxic. You need to take great care with placing crystals in water, not all are non-toxic, you can look this up on google to be safe.

The Citrine is from Brazil but is not genuine Citrine, it is heat treated Amethyst.

There is nothing wrong with heat treated Citrine, after all this process happens naturally deep within the earth. Many people prefer heat treated Citrine over natural, especially in view of the price difference. It is a beautiful stone and has a wonderful energy. I have many around my own home and office.

Please do be aware that with the Citrine being heat treated, it is extremely fragile and extreme care should be taken when handling it or some of the points could break off.
